I feel played – Khloé Kardashian hits back after Lamar Odom disputes documentary claims
Khloé Kardashian is speaking out after Lamar Odom challenged parts of her account in his new documentary.
Odom revisits his 2015 overdose in Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, including the period when he was found unresponsive at a brothel near Las Vegas.
Kardashian appears in the film, sharing her experience of their marriage and how she supported him during his recovery, even pausing their divorce at the time.
Following the release, Odom publicly disagreed with some of her statements. He questioned claims about his father’s alleged stance on life support and credited his survival to faith, rather than suggesting Kardashian played a central role.
On the April 15 episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, Kardashian addressed the situation directly. She said her involvement in the documentary came at Odom’s request and described it as a favor.
“I’m upset that I even got involved,” she said, explaining that she had initially hesitated for months before agreeing. According to her, she only signed on after being assured the project would take a positive direction.
Kardashian also noted that she was not paid for her appearance and had no personal stake in whether the documentary moved forward. “I didn’t need to do it,” she added, making it clear she had already moved on from that chapter of her life.
Her frustration appears to stem from how her role has been portrayed since the documentary’s release.
She pushed back against suggestions that she exaggerated her involvement, saying she simply shared the story she was asked to tell.
“To now act like I didn’t do what I did and imply I’m not telling the truth, that’s a lot,” she said, adding that the situation left her feeling used.
