We’re more than friends – Catherine Bach shares joyful update after health scare
Catherine Bach is giving fans a warm glimpse into her life, sharing cheerful new photos that show her in high spirits months after a health scare.
The actress, best known for her role in The Dukes of Hazzard, recently posted a glowing selfie on Instagram.
Dressed in a striking red blouse and jeans, she completed the look with soft glam makeup and relaxed styling.
Standing beside a close friend, she kept the caption simple, “FAMILY,” followed by a heart emoji.
In another post, the two women were all smiles as they embraced during an outing at a Nashville restaurant, writing, “Through so many of life’s milestones, we’re more than friends, we’re family! Xoxo.”
Fans quickly filled the comments with admiration and nostalgia. “Hello Miss Daisy Duke!” one wrote, referencing her iconic role, while others added, “I bet you could still pull off Daisy Dukes!” and “Still smoking!”
The uplifting update comes after a worrying moment last October, when Bach was hospitalized following an embolism. At the time, her co stars shared messages of support and reassurance.
John Schneider, who played Bo Duke, told fans, “Yes, she is in the hospital, but she assures me that she is going to be fine. She appreciates all our prayers and support.”
Fellow cast member Tom Wopat also reached out with encouragement, writing, “Sending our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Catherine Bach… wishing her comfort and a full, speedy recovery.”
Ben Jones earlier shared details about her condition, explaining that the embolism may have developed after a recent surgery and asking fans to keep her in their thoughts.
